Aroma Island was once the heart of the coconut trade in the San Blas archipelago and remains a peaceful retreat surrounded by clear waters and white sandy beaches. Join Sea San Blas for a seamless trip to this hidden gem, where you can relax, swim, and explore the beauty of Guna Yala. Whether you’re looking for a quiet escape or an adventure-filled getaway, we tailor every experience to ensure a memorable stay. If you’re ready for more exploring, check out our Yanis Island tours.

Escape to Aroma Island for an overnight stay in the San Blas Islands. This tranquil destination is perfect for beach lovers looking to unwind in nature. As a Guna-owned and operated agency, Sea San Blas works closely with local families to provide an authentic experience. With over five years of expertise, we are Panama’s leading agency for San Blas tours. Looking for more options? Our Franklin Island trips are also a favorite. Our transportation service, regulated by the Guna General Congress, includes daily pickups from Panama City between 5 and 5:20 am. The 2.5-hour drive features a rest stop for snacks and bathrooms before arriving at the port. Our 4x4 SUVs seat up to six passengers, and while seating is assigned randomly, we can make special arrangements if needed. For a different experience, consider our Cayos Holandeses tours.

Accommodations on Aroma Island are basic, with shared facilities and no private bathrooms. Some areas may have fans and limited solar-powered electricity, but air conditioning is not available. Meals and one drink are included, with vegetarian options upon request. Bringing extra water and snacks is recommended, especially for those with dietary restrictions. The use of drones is prohibited, and all local rules are set by the Guna General Congress. San Blas has a tropical climate, so expect occasional rain. Weather forecasts are unreliable, and trips continue as planned unless conditions become unsafe. Safety is our top priority, and refunds are only offered for cancellations due to severe weather. Morning rain is common when crossing into Guna Yala, but it usually clears up quickly. If you’re looking for more adventures, check out our Pelicano Island tours as well.
