Sea San Blas Will Charge A Penalty Fee When The Following Occurs:
If a customer does not respond and misses their pickup or is picked up and decides not to continue with the trip before arriving at the port on their scheduled trip date. In that case, Sea San Blas reserves the right to charge the customer a penalty transportation fee of $25 per person. Upon returning to their pickup location, the customer will incur no additional costs except for the fee mentioned above.
If the customer had selected to pay their remaining trip balance at the port cash, they would not be charged the remaining balance since they did not partake in the trip.
Notice of Refund Eligibility
The term "Full Refund" is contingent upon the initial payment structure selected by the customer at the point of purchase. A "Full Refund" may constitute the entirety of the amount transacted online if the customer elected to pay the full price of the trip via online payment methods. Conversely, should the customer have chosen to pay an online deposit only, with the remainder due in cash on the day of the trip, a "Full Refund" shall apply solely to the online deposit previously paid.
Conditions Warranting Issuance of Refunds
Sea San Blas commits to issuing refunds under the following specific circumstances:
- Cancellation by Sea San Blas: In the event of cancellation due to weather-related safety concerns deemed by Sea San Blas as unsafe for travel, guests may opt for rescheduling or receiving a full refund, subject to the payment structure initially chosen (full payment or deposit only).
- Cancellation Prior to Departure: Should a cancellation occur at least 72 hours before the scheduled departure time (6 AM on the date of travel), guests are entitled to a full refund.
- Evacuation from Trip/Excursion: In cases where a medical emergency necessitates evacuation from a trip or excursion, or Sea San Blas encounters an unforeseen emergency, a full refund will be provided.
Exclusions to Refund Eligibility
Refunds will not be issued in the following scenarios:
- Early Departure by Guest: Should a guest elect to terminate their participation in a trip or excursion earlier than the scheduled conclusion, and despite accommodation efforts by Sea San Blas, no refunds shall be issued.
- Non-Attendance: Failure of a guest to attend their scheduled trip without prior cancellation.
- Disinclination due to Weather Conditions: A decision not to participate based on personal dissatisfaction with the weather conditions on the day of the trip, notwithstanding Sea San Blas's right to cancel or reschedule trips deemed unsafe due to weather.
- Failure to Meet at Designated Pickup Location: Guests not present at their stated pickup locations at the scheduled time or who miss their morning departure will not be eligible for refunds. Rescheduling for another day may be offered at no additional cost.
- Late Cancellation by Guest: Cancellations made less than 72 hours before the trip's scheduled departure time (6 AM on the date of travel), except under extenuating circumstances validated by credible proof submitted by the guest, will result in forfeiture of refund eligibility.
Adherence to Our Refund Policy
Sea San Blas reserves the right to enforce this policy strictly to ensure fairness and maintain operational integrity. Requests for refunds contrary to the stipulations herein will not be entertained. This policy is subject to amendments at the discretion of Sea San Blas without prior notice.
